Qargo Delivery App

Getting packages across town in Ghana used to be a headache. Whether you're a small business owner shipping orders or someone who just needs to send something to a friend, the options were either unreliable or expensive. Qargo set out to change that by making delivery as simple as tapping a button.

I worked on the React Native mobile app that powers the Qargo customer experience. The goal was to create something intuitive enough that anyone could use it, while still being powerful enough to handle the complex logistics of on-demand delivery.

The app lets users request deliveries with multiple stops, schedule pickups in advance, and track their packages in real-time. We built a digital wallet system called Qargo Wallet for seamless payments, along with a loyalty points program that rewards frequent users. The split delivery feature was particularly innovative—it allows packages heading in similar directions to be combined, reducing costs for users while cutting carbon emissions.

One of the features users love most is the precise location tracking. No more trying to explain your location with landmarks like "turn left at the koko seller." The app handles all of that, saving both senders and riders a lot of stress.

We put a strong emphasis on customer support, building in live chat and call features directly into the app so users could get help whenever they needed it. That focus on reliability and service quality is reflected in the reviews—the app maintains a 4.8-star rating with users consistently praising the professional riders and responsive support team.

Working on Qargo was a great example of building technology that solves a real, everyday problem. Seeing small business owners rely on the app to run their operations and hearing feedback like "my life saver" from users made the work feel meaningful.
