Built is Ghana's leading all-in-one finance platform for small and medium businesses — covering invoicing, POS, accounting, payroll, budgets, and business credit. It's trusted by businesses across Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, and 10+ other African markets.
What I built
built.africa — Web Platform (Next.js)Built and shipped the company's primary marketing and product web platform in React. The site serves a multinational audience across 14+ countries, each with localised product information, pricing, and regulatory context. Performance, clarity, and conversion were the primary design goals.
Built Accounting — Mobile App (React Native)
Rebuilt and scaled the core accounting mobile app from 700 installs to over 50,000. Available on both the App Store and Google Play, the app gives SME owners a full accounting suite on their phones — invoicing, expense tracking, payroll, and business insights.
Built Lite — Offline-First App (React Native + WatermelonDB)
Built Built Lite from the ground up as an offline-first mobile experience using WatermelonDB and SQLite. Designed for small business owners in low-connectivity environments who need to track transactions, manage inventory, and process sales without relying on a stable internet connection. Local-first architecture with sync when connectivity is available.
